課程概述 |
Quantum Physics is the defining undergraduate course for advancement into modern physics. The Quantum Physics “mosaic” started to emerge a century ago by way of experiment, which stimulated theory development. The immense richness has transformed human society, to this day. This course will emphasize the empirical basis of Quantum Physics, as well as its vastness. |

課程目標 |
Formalism will be left for future courses, such as Quantum Mechanics and beyond. Our aim is to cover, in a year, all of Quantum Physics: from its origins in atoms and spectra, through molecules and condensed matter, to nuclear and particle physics. In this second semester, we cover quantum statistics, molecules and condensed matter, and introducing nuclear and particle physics.
N.B. We will try to improve on the coverage of nuclear and particle part, to make it more digestable. |
